wART 95.5FM
If you missed the live stream of my visit with Donna Levine-Small on her Writers Words Radio show last week on 95.5FM, you can listen to the recording whenever you like right here:
The radio show broadcasts from the street-front display window of a former Belk department store (and later it was the town’s library) in Marshall, North Carolina. Here we are about to go on the air in the same space mannequins were staged for years:

Donna Levine-Small and myself.
Donna crafted a fun interview that walked through my college years (transferring schools), my work pre-freelancing, and I even got to read a flash fiction piece on air. I wrote the story at a write-in I organized through Asheville Writers last year and it is currently a finalist for a fiction prize. More on that soon!
Great to hear you here — I miss our critique group. . . Good luck in the contest!
Thanks! Hope you’re writing new poetry–sign up for Chris’ group first Wednesday of the month. I’m there most of the time. Hope your family made out okay in SC with the hurricane. My parents’ Savannah community was evacuated.
