book promotion

Earlier this year, Glenda Beall, a writer in Western North Carolina, invited me to instruct a course at her writer studio. We talked about a few different topics–and the one she recommended seemed like the perfect fit. Both she and I see many writers who are natural authors and feel uncomfortable when they have to sell their book and constantly promote themselves.

Writers sometimes don’t realize that there are dozens of ways you can spread awareness about your book without having to ask someone to buy your book, pass out flyers, or buy ads.

I share a few of the ways you can avoid pushy sales tactics and instead authentically market your book in my guest post on Glenda’s blog. Read more in ‘Promote Your Book Without Promoting Your Book.’

Glenda is graciously hosting my class ‘Your Writer Platform‘ on Saturday, August 22nd at her studio in Hayesville, North Carolina (just west of Asheville). Not only is she organizing the event and providing the space, she is doing so at the cost of $35 per seat! Super affordable. Registration remains open until July 1st. Register directly with her studio.
