I have been writing naked for three years. I looked over the blog to see what has changed. It’s not common, but one thing that has not changed is the site layout. I have kept it virtually identical (aside from the new Twitter plug-in) since day one. It works! The only addition is a new category that surfaced over the years: Publishing News features re-caps from social media posts you may have missed. Also, earlier this year I raised my rates for guest contributors.
In the fall of 2011 I had 15 followers. As of this writing I have 465.
465!
And over 17,000 views.
What have hundreds of followers been interested in? Here are the posts that received the most traffic over the past three years:
- Writer’s Weekend in Photos: Asheville
- Writer’s Weekend in Photos: Film Set in Durham
- My Letter of Resignation
- Touchable Art – Feel Color (Check out a follow-up on this.)
- Why Pro-Bono Work is Worth More Than Paid
A very big thank you to followers and those just stopping by!
Congratulations! That is an awesome achievement.
Thank you! Time flies. Curious how the blog will evolve going forward.
Outstanding, Tara Lynne! You are an inspiration to your subscribers and others who visit your site, as well as a sterling example for all who want to follow the writing dream. You have turn that dream into a reality that benefits other writers, too. Thank you.
It’s great to look back and recognize all of your accomplishments–you’ve put so much into your blog and have been a great resource for me in my freelance/writing journey. For that, I can’t thank you enough 🙂
Thanks, Charlotte! Time goes by pretty quickly. Thanks for being a loyal reader–and comment-er! It’s nice to know my words reach others in the virtual abyss.
