Tactile Colors ArtMy latest article will appear in this Sunday’s Durham News, but you can read it online now. “Art You Can See With Your Eyes Closed” explores an artist’s motivations for creating a tactile color wheel for the visually impaired, and recreating famous works of art for the blind to “see” for themselves.

I was introduced to the artist’s work a few years ago through her son, Living Poetry co-organizer Bart Barker. Check out my original post about touchable art.
